PRIVACY POLICY
Last updated: 30 April 2026 - GDPR / EU Reg. 2016/679
1. Data Controllers
Kaido Garage / Kaido Riders is an informal biker crew, not a company and not a registered legal entity.
The data controllers are Bibire Ioan Olivian and Zeni Iseni, acting as natural persons on behalf of the informal Kaido Garage community. For privacy matters, contact privacy@kaidogarage.eu.
2. Minimum Age
Because Kaido Garage is available to riders in different EU countries, the private area, registration and community features are intended for users aged 16 or older.
Under GDPR Article 8, the general digital consent age is 16 for information society services. Some EU Member States may set a lower age, but to keep the crew rules clear across borders we apply a 16+ rule for account registration and member features.
If you are under 16, do not register or send personal data through the website without authorisation from a parent or legal guardian.
3. Data We Collect and Why
Navigation and security data: IP address, browser, device data, visited pages and request logs. Purpose: security, abuse prevention and basic technical operation. Legal basis: legitimate interest.
Contact form data: name, email, topic and message. Purpose: replying to requests from riders, partners or visitors. Legal basis: consent or pre-contractual request.
Newsletter data: email address and consent record. Purpose: sending Kaido Garage news, shop previews, crew updates and events if activated. Legal basis: consent.
Account and member data: email, nickname, name, city, country, vehicle, role, approval status and member code. Purpose: registration, private area, admin approval, crew tools and safety of the community. Legal basis: consent, contract-like membership request and legitimate interest.
4. Technical Providers
We use external technical providers only to keep the site working safely.
Supabase is used for database, authentication and account/session management.
Vercel is used for hosting, deployment, performance and security of the website.
These providers act as external processors where they process personal data on our behalf, under their own GDPR-compliant terms and security measures.
5. Cookies
We use necessary technical cookies for site operation, cookie preferences, authentication sessions and security. Optional analytics or marketing cookies are used only after consent, if activated.
You can manage cookie choices from the cookie banner or the Cookie Policy page.
6. Data Retention
Contact messages are kept for up to 24 months unless a longer period is needed to manage a request, protect the community or comply with legal duties.
Newsletter data is kept until consent is withdrawn. Account data is kept while the account is active or while needed for moderation, security or legal reasons.
7. Sharing With Third Parties
We do not sell personal data. We share data only when needed to run the website, provide technical services, comply with the law, protect users or manage the crew community.
We may use email, hosting, authentication, database, security or analytics providers only where necessary and with appropriate safeguards.
8. Your GDPR Rights
You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, objection and withdrawal of consent by writing to privacy@kaidogarage.eu.
We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request, especially for account or member data.
9. Security and Crew Rules
We use technical and organizational safeguards to reduce unauthorized access, loss, disclosure or misuse of personal data. Access to member data is limited to authorized admin/CEO roles.
Kaido Garage is a rider community. The website and member area must be used with respect for the law, road safety, privacy and the internal crew rules.
10. Complaints
You may contact your competent data protection authority. We invite you to contact us first so we can review and fix the issue quickly.
